I've been hearing about this British satire for years. I've only watched the first part so far, but it's as sharp and funny as everyone said.

Oh, Brass Eye is brilliant. Some eps are better than others, of course, but I recommend getting hold of the entire series.

I found it almost uniformly funny - the exception being that when actual children were onstage as part of the skits it introduced a distracting element that interfered with the funniness. That whole use-vs-mention thing again.
