Heh. This kind of thing is pretty easy to do--I've seen it with Batman, although with Tintin there's no "grown man in tights" aspect, so I'll give the author a few more points for degree of difficulty.
Bottom line is that this stuff was written for pre-teen boys, so of course there are no girls. Throw in a couple anachronisms, and it's easy to make this case. I'm curious to see if Tom McCarthy covers this in "Tintin and the Secret of Literature."

Don't you scoff, now. Just look at the "clues" so clearly "hidden" in this cover. Tintin is warning you "Don't Tell," while contorting his left hand to mimic an orifice for Mme. Castafiore's obviously phallic shoe. Tintin appreciates the "music theater" side of life, while Captain Haddock - of whom one senses that whenever he's not in frame he's fucking every woman in sight. And OK, dammit, a few men here and there - objects with a classic "Butch" attitude.

Hum, makes me think of the missiles send from Gaza and south Lebanon, the suicide bombers, the oodles of opportunities Arafat had to sign peace treaties, etc. I agree that a lot of deaths of innocent civilians have happened (not only in this last incursion), but do you think Israel is the only one to blame? Please.
