Hagee's heresy

I've just written my first original post for the Rapture Ready! blog. If you want to know why many Christians really hate John Hagee, check it out (it's not because he thinks the Pope is the antichrist — who doesn't?).

This will soon be up at HuffPo as well, but much of the Rapture Ready! blog is going to be shorter, funnier, topical and non-topical stuff about Christian pop culture. I don't know how often I'll post there, but I'm not going to plug every post on this site as well. So if you're interested in my musings on such things, you might want to make the Rapture Blog a regular stop on your blogroll.

Any chance at a feed on the rapture ready blog?

Yeah, check back soon.

I mean check back soon for a link. There's already a feed at http://www.getraptureready.com/blog/rss.xml

Comments seem to be broken over there.

Probably just as well, since all I really wanted to say was "first!"

shorter?

@Jessica. Crazy fundamentalists hate Hagee because they think he believes Jews can go to heaven. He denies it.

Rapture Ready! blog doesn't seem to be comment ready. What I was trying to say over there was-
The Apostate Church, the anti-Christ and the blood of the saints: two beasts, one cup. I didn't realize that there was Biblical precedent for that concept.

Haha I actually read it in full. I was more questioning you telling us "but much of the Rapture Ready! blog is going to be shorter, funnier, topical and non-topical stuff about Christian pop culture." since your posts here are usually short. :)

Also, I was raised by a SB deacon. And he was a hair away from joining up with AIG and moving to Cinncinati. I wasn't sold on your book actually until I read your excerpt and remembered that you're a good writer, since the material is familiar to me I wasn't sure I would get much out of it. But I think I will.

So ... let me get this straight -- Jews can go to heaven?

And if Ann Coulter is there, is it really heaven or is it.... someplace else?
