I've had a hard enough time convincing people that Friday Night Lights is one of the best shows on TV right now. It is so not going to help if they let Rosie fucking O'Donnell guest star.
Well, the first season DVDs are available for pre-order at the bargain price of $19.99, so give it a look before they fuck it up. As someone who doesn't care about football, and didn't particularly like the FNL movie, I was mightly impressed by this show, for these seven reasons and more.

You know, it does sound horrible, but at least she wouldn't be appearing as herself...

Except that the producer acknowledges that it's "stunt casting," which means that whatever her character, she essentially will be appearing as herself.
