Amusingly, on the same day my editor would not let me use the phrase "fuck that" in the intro, Slate runs an article on how publications decide whether or not to use the F word. Guess my usage wasn't newsworthy enough.

It's good, as usual, but I must take you to task on the Index. As Mark O'Donnell showed in Elementary Education, the real genius of this format is in making the jokes occur *in alphabetical order,* as in a real index. And here I thought you were a real genius. *weeps*
